Sony Corp.  created a new Sony Music Group, uniting Rob Stringer’s Sony Music Entertainment and Jon Platt’s Sony/ATV Music Publishing.

Ken Ehrlich, who has been producing the Grammy Awards telecast since 1980, will take a bow after executive-producing next year’s 62nd Grammy Awards.  

The New York Thruway is in no danger of being closed in mid-August.
