Ed Sheeran has claimed the fastest selling album of 2019 so far in the U.K. with No.6 Collaborations Project (Atlantic) shifting 125k combined chart sales. While it hits #1 on the Official Albums Chart, his “Beautiful People” f/Khalid is tops at singles.

That 125k figure trumps 2019’s former fastest-selling record holder, Lewis Capaldi, whose debut cleared 90k combined sales during its first week in May. No.6 Collaborations Project is Sheeran’s fourth #1 album in the U.K. and has outperformed the rest of this week’s Top 30 combined. In addition, his three prior studio albums all appear in this week’s albums Top 40: Divide is #7, X is #18 (up 23 slots) and + hits #37 (up 47 places).

On the Official Singles Chart, Sheeran claims his seventh #1 as “Beautiful People” climbs to #1 from #3. Two more of the album’s songs feature in this week’s Top 5: “Take Me Back to London” f/Stormzy is new at #3 and “Cross Me” f/Chance The Rapper & PnB Rock is #4.

Elsewhere on singles, AJ Tracey climbs six places to claim his first Top 10 as a lead artist with his self-released “Ladbroke Grove” at #6, while “So High” by Mist f/Fredo (Warner Records) is up four to #7.

“Location” by Dave f/Burna Boy (NBR) flies 25 places to #13 following the release of the track’s music video, Dominic Fike’s “3 Nights” (Columbia) reaches a new peak of #15, and Billie Eilish returns to the Top 20 with “Bad Guy” (Polydor) climbing seven slots to #16 thanks to the remix with Justin Bieber.
