A pair of Rock and Roll Hall of Famers and the soon-to-be recipient of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame top our latest gathering of trending topics, while the young gun just below them just broke out a Nirvana sample. All of which gives HITS List a “What year is this, anyway?” flavor.

The fact that these icons are sharing the virtual stage with modern-day megastars Taylor and Drake, their fearless leader Monte and the handlers of the exploding JoBros and Luke Combs reminds us that this is indeed 2019.
