Jeremy Erlich, formerly Interscope Records’ CFO and EVP Business Development, has joined Spotify as Head of Music Strategy. He will be based in L.A. and report to Nick Holmsten, Global Head of Music.
Erlich went to work for Interscope in 2016 after a five-year run as Head of Corporate Development and Strategy for Universal Music Group where he was heavily involved in the acquisition of EMI and Eagle Rock Entertainment.
Erlich wrote on Instagram that he will be responsible for the North American Editorial and Global Curation Strategy teams, as well as the Music team’s strategy and operations, and work to further strengthen Spotify’s relationships in the creative community. He will focus on artists, songwriters, producers, labels and publishing partners.
