FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

It’s a superstar heavy flipover Friday with new releases from Madonna, Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift ruling the iTunes charts.

Swift's new single, "You Need to Calm Down" (Republic) sits at #1 at songs while the deluxe version of Madonna's Lisbon-inspired Madame X (Live Nation/Maverick/Interscope) tops the albums chart. The standard edition is #10.

Springsteen's full-blown salute to lushly orchestrated records of L.A. and Nashville in the 1960s and early ‘70s, Western Stars (Columbia), shines at #2. At #3 is Bastille's third album, the night on the town during the apocalypse-themed Doom Days (Virgin/Capitol).

X Ambassadors’ second album, ORION (KIDinaKORNER/Interscope) is #6 followed one slot lower by

Gerogia metal act BaronessGold & Grey (Abraxan Hymns).

New releases from Calexico and Iron & Wine, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and Jamestown Revival sit just outside the Top 10.

On the songs side, the second single from BTS World Original Soundtrack, “A Brand New Day” f/Zara Larsson, sits at #3.

Two Wednesday releases are in the Top 10 at Apple Music: Chris Brown f/Drake’s “No Guidance” (RCA) is #1 while Dreamville’s “1-888-88-DREAM” (Dreamville/Interscope) is #9.

D.C. rapper GoldLink’s Wednesday release Diaspora (RCA) is the top newcomer at Apple Music where it sits at #9.

We’re still waiting for Drake’s  two tracks celebrating the Toronto Raptors win: "Omertá" and "Money in the Grave" f/Rick Ross (YMCMB).
