VEVO'S PEOPLE PERSON

Vevo has hired Laurie Zeleny to oversee its global people strategy and all facets of acquiring and developing the company’s talent. Based in New York, her title is SVP of People.

“Laurie’s skillset and experience across media and technology sectors was exactly what we were looking for,” said CEO Alan Price. “Our people are the key to the success of our business and I look forward to Laurie joining the team to help us continue on our mission of growing the commercial and promotional value of music videos.”

Zeleny has worked in a variety of industries ranging from media to tech startups. She founded her own consulting and executive coaching practice, coaching leaders, leading organizational transformations, and designing HR units.

“Vevo plays such an integral role in the consumption and monetization of music videos globally; ensuring that we secure and develop the right talent across our company will be key to keeping us on this path,” Zeleny said.
