Pharrell pulled out all the stops this weekend at Something In The Water, a music and arts festival curated by the legendary producer/artist in his hometown of Virginia Beach. Billed as "Pharrell & Friends," the host performed a career-spanning set Saturday evening that included surprise appearances from Jay-Z, Diddy, Missy Elliot, Snoop Dogg, Timbaland, N.E.R.D., Busta Rhymes and Tyler, the Creator, among others.
Despite inclement weather canceling Friday's festivities, headliners Travis Scott, SZA and J Balvin performed Saturday ahead of Pharrell's all-star set. Rosalía and Mac DeMarco got the festival started mid-afternoon.
Pusha T, Chris Brown and Anderson .Paak & the Free Nationals closed the fest on Sunday.
UPDATE: CBS This Morning aired a segment Wednesday morning with Pharrell giving Gayle King a tour of his hometown, as well as speaking about what bringing SITW to Virginia Beach means to him.
