With Taylor Swift due to drop a new single this Friday (4/26)—her first release on her new imprint through Republic, following a countdown begun on social media—wonderers are wondering: Which producers and writers is she working with? Will this be new material related to the forthcoming film of Cats, in which she appears?

Wonderers also wonder whether Tay will change her prior stance with respect to free streaming. Will she once again restrict her new music to premium services, at least for a windowed period? Does she still have a special relationship with Apple? Will her desire for a #1 record outweigh her fidelity to the paid-only tier?
