PRIME TIME FOR GLOVER'S ISLAND

Donald Glover’s film featuring Rihanna, Guava Island, will air just after midnight PT Saturday on Amazon Prime. They’ve released a teaser.

The film was initially scheduled for streaming only on the Coachella YouTube channel immediately following Childish Gambino’s set.

Written by Glover’s brother Stephen, and directed by Glover’s Atlanta collaborator Hiro Murai, the movie is described as a “tropical thriller.” Nonso Anozie and Letitia Wright also star.

The film is being made available at Amazon Prime for nonsubscribers for 18 hours.
