STING'S JOURNEY THROUGH THE PAST

Sting has gone through his Police and solo career catalog to come up with new versions of 15 oldies but goodies that will be released 5/24 as My Songs (Cherrytree/A&M/Interscope).

“Some of them reconstructed, some of them refitted, some of them reframed, but all of them with a contemporary focus,” Sting says. "Demolition Man" is the first track released.

In the liner notes, Sting shares the personal stories behind each song. My Songs was produced and A&R’d by Martin Kierszenbaum, Dave Audé and Jerry Fuentes.

Sting will embark on a My Songs tour this summer in Europe and currently has a handful of dates in the States, including stops at Vienna, Va.’s Wolf Trap and Chicago’s Ravinia Festival.
