Ben Larsen is Warner Bros. Records' new International Marketing chief after being promoted to SVP of the department. He reports to WBR Co-Chairman & COO Tom Corson.
Based in Los Angeles, Larsen joined the Global Marketing team in London nine years ago.
“Since coming on board at WBR, I have been continually impressed by Ben’s deep understanding of both the overall global marketplace as well as the cultures and musical trends that are unique to individual territories around the world,” Corson said. “With more global possibilities opening up than ever before, Ben and his team are perfectly positioned to create innovative, boundary-crossing opportunities for our artists. Also, he knows where I can get a pastrami sandwich downtown.”
While in London, he oversaw the company’s relationship with Because Music and worked with WBR acts such as Michael Bublé, Gary Clark Jr. and Green Day.
He moved to L.A. in 2015 and was upped to VP, International Marketing. Her recently oversaw the year-long international “Meant to Be” campaign for Bebe Rexha.
