The Woodstock 50 headliners we previously reported—Dead & Co., The Killers, Miley Cyrus, Santana, The Black Keys, Chance the Rapper, Jay-Z, Imagine Dragons and Halsey—have been confirmed by all parties involved.
We're also told that all headliner guarantees, which range between $1-3m+ per act based on estimated festival attendance of 125k per day, have been deposited.
A controversy continues to rage, meanwhile, about the festival site, which has been approved for 75k attendees, and the moves the competition is making to stop the approval of the 125k capacity. Organizer/founder Michael Lang has assured financier Dentsu that this approval will be forthcoming, which prompted the release of aforementioned guarantees.
Insiders also say there is expected to be considerably less nudity than at Woodstock 1969.
