ESHY'S ENTRANCE

Manager Eshy Gazit is joining the Maverick team and bringing with him the internationally successful group Monsta X.

Known for his work behind K-Pop icons BTS, Tiffany Young and Monsta X, the exec played an instrumental role in the global success of K-Pop that recently brought the genre to the forefront of American pop culture.

Gazit, who helped guide BTS through the group's American breakthrough in 2016-2018 as their U.S. partner, is currently focusing on Monsta X. The group, which will serve as the first K-Pop act to perform at the iHeartRadio Music Festival later this year, did Jingle Ball in 2018, following two sold-out world tours that included a stop at L.A.'s Microsoft Theater. Their latest album, Take.2 We Are Here., dropped 2/18 and immediately flew to #1 on the iTunes albums chart worldwide.

Soju shots are on Maverick President Greg Thompson, who said, “We are thrilled to have Eshy join the Maverick family and I feel he brings a great amount of enthusiasm as well as a very unique skill set to our management group.” We're sure he looks forward to learning how to say "Don't let our news anywhere near those HITS schmucks" in Korean.
