Scooter Braun has named SB Projects President Allison Kaye to the board of Ithaca Holdings, the company that houses Braun’s operation.
“This public announcement is long overdue,” Braun said. “Allison has acted as my partner for a decade. There would be no company without the genius and hard work of Allison Kaye.
“She is simply the best at what she does and we are all better for it. Here is to another decade of talking to each other every day, morning and night. I’m sure she isn’t looking forward to it.”
Kaye joined SB Projects as its first employee in 2007 and was named president of the company last year after being President of Music since 2016. She now oversees all of SB Projects’ properties alongside Braun, working in music, TV, film, social projects, technology, lifestyle and more.
Most recently, Kaye was instrumental in the record-breaking release of Ariana Grande’s thank u, next. Kaye helped lead the SB Projects team through major initiatives such as 2017’s One Love Manchester Event, following the terrorist attack during Grande's concert.
“She’s one of the most brilliant people in the galaxy and I’m so excited about this,” Grande said. “I can’t imagine a more deserving person or a harder worker.”
