THE DEATH OF PRINT JOURNALISM: POST-GRAMMY RAINBOW EDITION

MCA Nashville’s luminous Kacey Musgraves, who graces the cover of our most recent print edition, was a breakout star of Grammy night, taking Album of the Year and assorted country trophies and delivering a killer performance of new single “Rainbow.” Is the Jason Owen-managed Musgraves about to move to a new level in her career? We can’t say, but we’re pretty sure she didn’t expect to find us at the end of the Rainbow.

Scooter Braun is celebrating a stratospheric debut week for his artist Ariana Grande, whose latest success is the biggest artist story of the year so far. It’s just another in a string of triumphs for the manager/entre-preneur, who saw Grande, Tori Kelly and Dan + Shay (the latter co-repped with Jason Owen) win gold on Grammy night. That said, he’ll probably want to Scoot away from this HITS Contents mention as quickly as possible.
