ARIANA'S POPPING ALL OVER THE PLACE

Ariana Grande’s thank you, next (Republic) continues to shatter records. With 360k equivalent album units in seven days, the current chart-topper now holds the record for biggest streaming week for a pop album by a female artist—putting Ari in the top 10 of the biggest streaming weeks. She’s the only female artist on the list.

Streaming-wise, the album smashed the global Spotify record for biggest opening day by a female artist, while La Grande locked up the Top 12 spots on the Spotify U.S. chart. As for Apple Music, thank you, next now has the record for having biggest first 24 hours for a pop album in in the streamery’s history, while setting the record for most streams by a female artist.

Album tracks dominated the Top 10 on Apple Music Global chart and she landed a rare trifecta of number ones with #1 Song, #1 Album, and #1 Music Video simultaneously on Apple Music and iTunes. Plus, she clinched the #1 Song on Spotify, Global and U.S.

In the U.K., Ari becomes the first female artist in history to simultaneously hold the #1 album and Top 2 singles on the Official Charts, the first artist to replace herself at #1 on the Official Singles Chart and the first female artist to have three singles concurrently in the Top 10 as a lead artist since 1955. Additionally, according to the Official Chart’s Co.’s hard-working statisticians, she joins Elvis Presley, John Lennon and Justin Bieber as the only artists ever to score three #1 singles in under 100 days in the U.K. thank u, next also surpasses Sweetener with the most album streams ever in the U.K. by a female artist in a week.
