Breaking tradition and announcing the Grammy Awards show opener, the Recording Academy has confirmed that Camila Cabello will open this year’s show. In addition, a collection of contemporary stars will salute MusiCares Person of the Year honoree Dolly Parton.
Parton will perform on the Grammys for the first time since 2001. She will perform music from her latest album Dumplin' and a tribute segment will feature her classics sung by Little Big Town, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves, and Katy Perry.
Cabello will open the show with J Balvin, Young Thug, Ricky Martin and Arturo Sandoval.
CBS will air the Grammys on Sunday from Staples Center.
