The Recording Academy has broken out the details on the afternoon session of the Grammys—during which the bulk of the gramophones will be handed out. The event, billed as the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony, will take place at the Microsoft Theater from 12:30–3:30 p.m. PT on 2/10, and will be livestreamed on Grammy.com.
Shaggy (pictured) will host the ceremony, which will include performances from feature a number of current nominees including EDM duo Sofi Tukker and trumpeter Craig Morris. Nigerian Afrobeat artist Seun Kuti and Malian singer/songwriter Fatoumata Diawara will take the stage together, as will Mexican singers Ángela Aguilar, Aida Cuevas and Natalia Lafourcade. Among the scheduled presenters are current nominees Lzzy Hale of Halestorm, Questlove, TOKiMONSTA and former Academy Chair Jimmy Jam.
