TAG THEY'RE IT: SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

“Middle Child” has delivered another birthday present to Dreamville/Roc Nation’s J. Cole: While the rapper is blowing out 34 candles, the single is the biggest mover on the Shazam USA Top 100.

Besides Cole’s track spiking to #5 on the Shazam USA Top 100, “Roses,” the rising hit from Benny Blanco & Juice WRLD f/Panic! At the Disco lead singer Brendon Urie (Friends Keep Secrets/Interscope), blooms on the U.S. and U.K. lists. It’s the biggest mover in Blighty, along with Nouela’s cover of Paul Simon’s “The Sound of Silence” that was featured in two episodes of ITV’s Cold Feet.

TV placements also helped in the U.S. “Hold On” from Island’s Bishop Briggs, which has never been officially released, gets thumbs wagging after a placement on ABC’s The Good Doctor. The White Buffalo, who were oft-heard on Sons of Anarchy and Californication, get their 10-year-old track “The Woods” on the list after a synch in Marvel’s The Punisher on Netflix.
