Donald Trump’s tweets possess little sense of rhythm, cohesion or grammar, so the daunting task of turning into music his blasts of half-baked thoughts, innuendo and braggadocio goes to a man of many talents, Leon Bridges.

Bridges’ second album for Columbia, the Grammy-nominated Good Thing, offered a directional change from his debut Coming Home, but nothing like the tune he assembled for Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday.
