The marathon benefit concert I Am the Highway: A Tribute to Chris Cornell, which went down Wednesday night at the Forum in L.A., featured a heavy lineup of artists performing 42 songs associated with the late, great rocker.
Performances by members of Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog, along with sets from Foo Fighters, Metallica, Ryan Adams, Fiona Apple, Brandi Carlile, Miley Cyrus, Adam Levine, Ziggy Marley, Miguel, Josh Homme and Chris Stapleton, featured the superstars curating their own performance to remember Chris, taking fans on a five-hour journey through his legendary career and catalog.
Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the event drew a large cross-section of showbiz heavyweights, with Brad Pitt, Josh Brolin, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale, Tom Hanks, Courteney Cox, Cameron Crowe, Kaley Cuoco, David Spade and John Carter Cash in the house.
The show raised more than $1 million for the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation and the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation.
