L.A. STADIUM BANKING ON TADLOCK

Steve Tadlock has been tapped as EVP and General Manager of downtown L.A.’s Banc of California Stadium and will be responsible for all facility operations and event production at the venue and the stadium grounds in Exposition Park.

Tadlock was most recently with venue management company SMG as Regional VP – Stadiums, Arenas and Theaters based in Fresno. He oversaw nine general managers and 14 venues. He played a key role in SMG securing the management contract of the Greek Theatre while overseeing all transitional operations at the venue.

“Steve is known throughout the entertainment and sports industries as a leader in the management and operation of large entertainment properties,” said his new boss, Adam Friedman, President of Banc of California Stadium Entertainment and EVP of LAFC Sports. “He not only deploys best practices, but creates them as an innovator in the space. He is equally well versed in both programming and operations and is a perfect fit for the role as we continue with our launch of the venue with a robust schedule of premium events.”

Tadlock said that in addition to Los Angeles Football Club matchers, “we will continue to grow and host top concerts and music festivals, the greatest in exhibition sports, and branded special events.”

Otto Benedict will continue as SVP, Facility Operations, reporting to Tadlock.

In addition to Tadlock, Friedman has brought in Jill Przelenski as Vice President, Special Event Sales. She will report to Ryan Northcott, Senior Vice President of Booking for BOCS Entertainment, and will be responsible for the booking, marketing, selling, and operation of all special events at the venue.

Additionally, she will work with the Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau to present the 24,000-seat stadium to business and event planners as a site for special events, conferences and meetings.

The former Director of Special Events and Family Attractions for The Forum most recently worked in sales and client development for Star Waggons.
