ROSENBERG GETS STARRING ROLE AT MUSIC BIZ 2019

The Music Business Association has snagged Def Jam chief and Eminem manager Paul Rosenberg to keynote the Music Biz 2019 conference on Monday, 5/6, at 5pm CT. In what will serve as a coming-out party of sorts, Rosenberg will discuss his professional journey, experience in both the management and label arenas and his vision for the future of the industry at large, according to the announcement from the org.

Music Biz prexy Jim Donio celebrated the coup by stating, "Paul Rosenberg's countless contributions to the music industry are undeniable. With a savvy ear for talent and innovative approach to marketing and promotion, his influence can be felt in all areas of the business. We are absolutely thrilled and honored to have him share his wisdom as a keynote speaker at this year's conference."

The multitasking Rosenberg also oversees Shady Records and Shady Films, which has produced web series, TV and broadcast live events, SiriusXM channel Shade45, and RapRadar.com. He served as producer and/or executive producer of the films 8 Mile, Get Rich or Die Tryin' and as Southpaw.

Music Biz 2019 will take place 5/5-8 at Nashville’s JW Marriott Hotel.
