Spotify and The Ellen DeGeneres Show have announced a long-term content partnership with a mutual goal of using each platform to allow millions of fans to discover new creative voices. The reciprocal relationship will give Spotify the unique opportunity to tap into Ellen's audience as the streaming company looks to deepen its connection with consumers beyond its primarily millennial user base, while sharing Ellen's love of music with new audiences.
Beginning with the announcement of the partnership on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Spotify will be a regular feature on the program through on-air integrations. Simultaneously, the Swedish giant will launch an Ellen hub that will live on the platform. https://ellen.withspotify.com/
Ellen will lead the curation of the hub, which will include custom content, themed playlists featuring her favorite artists, video clips and her "Ellen on the Go" podcast.
