SHERWOOD GUIDES WBR STREAM TEAM

After a dozen years at Warner Bros. Records, Mike Sherwood has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Revenue & Commercial Accounts, where he is responsible for new release and long-term strategies for WBR artists.

His boss, GM and EVP, Commerce & Marketing, Larry Mattera, made the announcement.

“Mike has that unique skill of balancing artistry with commerce, and is a crucial driving force behind many of our new and established artist campaigns,” said Mattera. “He is well-respected by artists, executives and peers alike and I look forward to even more success in the years ahead.”

As Vice President, Revenue & Commercial Accounts, for the last three years, Sherwood has been on the cutting edge of the streaming revolution with consistent above-industry-average revenue growth. He has also played a key role in the global streaming stories of Bebe Rexha, Dua Lipa and Lil Pump.
