WARNER/CHAPPELL, TRANSGRESSIVE SUFFER FOALS GLADLY

Transgressive Publishing and Warner/Chappell Music have signed a worldwide publishing deal for the catalog and future releases of Foals.

Currently recording their fifth album, Foals’ first four albums went Top 10 in the U.K. Transgressive Publishing partners Toby L, Tim Dellow and Lilas Bourboulon said Foals were one of the company’s first breakthrough bands, signing to the label around soon after opening their doors for business.

“Back then, they were wildly adventurous, ambitious, and uniquely dedicated to their craft. Four albums in and over a decade later, little has shifted; if anything, these qualities have merely intensified with time.”

Besides being excited and thrilled to work together, here’s what else the execs had to say.
