U.K. MIDWEEKS: A FIRST FOR BOCELLI

Andrea Bocelli is on course for his first ever U.K. #1 album this week with Si (Decca), which features Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa and Josh Groban, sitting at the top of the Official Albums midweek chart. But it’s a very tight race.

Tom Odell’s third album, Jubilee Road (Columbia), is a close second just 2.5k combined sales behind. And the A Star Is Born soundtrack (Polydor) is currently a mere 500 sales behind at #3.

Following the release of the film, Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack (Virgin) has moved up a place to #4, ahead of The Greatest Showman soundtrack (Atlantic) at #5.

Queen’s Platinum Collection (UMG) has rocketed 27 places and could land back in the Top 10 at #7, while the 1981 Greatest Hits is up 53 places to #25.

Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke is on track for a Top 10 debut with the soundtrack for supernatural horror film Suspiria (XL) at #8, and Culture Club & Boy George are close behind with Life (BMG) at #9.

On the Official Singles midweeks, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper are set to score a second week at #1 with “Shallow” (Polydor).

After a performance on the X Factor, Little Mix rise three places to #3 with “Woman Like Me” f/Nicki Minaj (Syco). Rita Ora is also up one place to #4 with “Let you Love Me” (Atlantic), followed by Marshmello f/Bastille’s “Happier” (Positiva) at #5.

Freya Ridings is in sight of a new peak for “Lost Without You” (Good Soldier) rising five places to #8, and Sigala, Ella Eyre, Meghan Trainor and French Montana are up two to #10 with “Just Got Paid” (Ministry of Sound).

XXXTentacion and Lil Pump's collaboration with Maluma and Swae Lee, “Arms Around You” (Warner Bros.), is looking like this week's highest new entry, starting at #12. Further down, Jess Glynne could have a 12th Top 20 hit on her hands as “Thursday” (Atlantic) rises four slots to #19.
