ASTRALWERKS GAME FOR NINJA

Capitol Music Group’s Astralwerks and the world’s biggest gamer, Ninja, have a struck a first-of-its-kind deal to create a soundtrack for his gaming world.

The soundtrack project, Ninjawerks, will feature contemporary electronic artists; songs and other content will be launched in the weeks ahead along with merchandise, Ninjawerks accessories and original artwork.

The deal— Astralwerks’ first step into the gaming world—was announced at TwitchCon in San Jose.

"I think this is another big step toward bridging the gap between music artists and gamers,” said Ninja, whose birth name is Tyler Blevins. “Our worlds keep getting more and more connected, and this feels like the next step—hopefully this can become the soundtrack to gaming.”

General Manager Toby Andrews said, “Through the hard work and dedication of a lot of people, it’s great to see this project come to life and expand the possibilities of what we can offer artists.”

Blevins has the most followed channel on Twitch, 19m subscribers on YouTube, 11m followers on Instagram and was the first gamer to appear on the cover of ESPN Magazine.
