JOE RAINEY—A HEART-WRENCHING LOSS (UPDATE)

Our deepest condolences go to the loved ones of Capitol's Joe Rainey, who passed on 10/13. Joe was a well-liked and respected promotion executive and a friend to many in the HITS family; may his memory be a blessing for his loved ones.

Greg Marella, Executive Vice President of Promotion for Capitol Music Group, issued the following statement:

“All of us at CMG are incredibly shocked and saddened to learn of the untimely passing of our colleague and friend, Joe Rainey. He will be greatly missed. We offer our most heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones at this extremely difficult time.”

A Memorial Service for will take place on Wednesday, 10/17 at Cecere Family Funeral Home, 2283 Grand Ave Baldwin, N.Y. 11510 from 5–9pm. The funeral home is walking distance from the Baldwin Train Station.
