12TONE SAYS HALLELUJAH FOR DAIGLE

Word is that Doug Morris’ new 12Tone label has inked a major deal with singer/songwriter Lauren Daigle. Daigle’s smash current set, Look Up Child, which is at about 254k since bowing at #3 a few weeks ago; 2015’s How Can It Be has done 1.2m RTD. Does the deal include these and/or other releases and the Centricity label that issued them?

Daigle—despite having earned two Grammy nods in Christian categories and having stayed near the top of the iTunes chart for weeks—has been largely under the radar for much of the biz until now. If you’re unfamiliar with her music, take a listen to the song below and you’ll appreciate why so many players were in the mix for Daigle before Morris prevailed.
