CITY OF HOPE TAPS JERMAINE DUPRI TO DJ THE GALA'S AFTER-PARTY

City of Hope's first ever after-party at the Barker Hangar will be led by hip-hop legend and So So Def label owner, Jermaine Dupri. The celebration supporting the acclaimed nonprofit will see Warner/Chappell Chairman and CEO Jon Platt honored with the organization's prestigious Spirit of Life award.

With Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Pharrell already announced in attendance, special performances from Grammy-winning gospel duo Mary Mary and funk band Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue are also on deck for the evening.

Read part 1 and part 2 of our interview with Big Jon ahead of the City of Hope gala; an upcoming installment includes memorable anecdotes about DJ JD.
