Caroline has upped Brandy Contreras to SVP Strategic Operations, announced President Jacqueline Saturn, to whom Contreras will report. She’ll focus on “increasing efficiencies” at the indie distribution/label services arm of Capitol Music Group from her office in the company’s iconic Hollywood Tower, working closely with Saturn and EVP Matt Sawin on strategic planning and alliances with Caroline’s 11 offices worldwide—enhancing infrastructure, streamlining administrative and communications processes, and requisitioning Funyuns for stoned indie bands.

“There are no words to express my excitement about welcoming Brandy into the Caroline family,” Saturn proclaimed. “I have never seen an employee so respected, valued and loved immediately by all of CMG. Her wealth of knowledge and great demeanor will be of incredible value to the entire Caroline team.”

Added CMG COO Michelle Jubelirer, “Brandy has made such a positive difference during her time at CMG, and we have benefited greatly from the depth and breadth of her experience in constantly evolving industries. She will be a tremendous asset to Caroline and help manage this important arm of our company as it continues its great growth and success. Now get the hell out of my office—I’m watching CNN.”
