LIL WAYNE DROPS
THA CARTER V

Lil Wayne has finally delivered Tha Carter V (Young Money), a 23-track collection with an all-star cast of features, on what is his 36th birthday (9/27).

Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj, Ashanti and XXXTENTACION all appear on the record, which was more than five years in the making, with production handled by the likes of Swizz Beats, DJ Frank E, Zaytoven, Mannie Fresh, Mike Free, Metro Boomin and Cool & Dre, among many others.

The set quickly shot to #1 on iTunes and is of course, the dominating topic across all social media. All 23 tracks on the album make up the Top 23 at Apple Music.

Kanye West announced via Twitter earlier Thursday that he would be holding the release of his new album YANDHI for 48 hours, in order to clear the way for Weezy's triumpant return.
