THE KIDS STAY IN THE PICTURE

During the rollout for Crush Pictures' first feature film, Spell, Team Crush gathered for a tinseltown photo op. The movie marks the feature directorial debut of Brendan Walter, who has helmed videos for Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco and Weezer, among others, and its trailer (see below) boasts a snippet of Weezer's "California Snow." The film itself features the voice of band frontman Rivers Cuomo and was scored by Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump.

Spell follows the odyssey of a troubled young man who wanders, unmedicated, across a vast expanse of Icelandic countryside—an experience that Bob McLynn said was not unlike working with Dan Kruchkow.

Seen awaiting their close-ups are (l-r) Alex Sarti, Evan Taubenfeld, Jasper Graham, Crush Pictures chief/producer Jon Lullo, Gaby Fainsilber, Walter, Kruchkow and McLynn. Not pictured: J.D., who was in his trailer, trying to figure out his motivation.
