A third track from the upcoming Tom Petty box set has been released on the heels of “Keep a Little Soul” performing astonishingly well at radio.
“Gainesville,” a never before released song recorded in 1998 during the Echo sessions, is available today as an instant download and on streaming services.
The set’s lead single, “Keep A Little Soul,” is Petty & the Heartbreakers' first Triple A radio #1 in in 12 years, receiving the most spins ever in a single week at the format.
The 60-track box set, An American Treasure, comes out 9/28 on Reprise Records and features extensive liner notes from our Petty expert in residence, Bud Scoppa.
