U.K. MIDWEEKS: PAUL WELLER'S STILL IN STYLE

British treasure Paul Weller is sitting at the top of the U.K.’s midweek Official Albums chart with True Meanings (Parlophone) currently 3k combined sales ahead of Eminem. Over on singles, Calvin Harris and Sam Smith are on course for a third week at #1 with "Promises" (Columbia).

There are two further new entries in the albums Top 5: Aphex Twin start at #4 with EP Collapse (Warp), followed by Dirty Hit newcomers Pale Waves with their debut, My Mind Makes Waves, at #5.

Electronic duo Orbital are on the cusp of their highest charting album in nearly 20 years with Monsters Exist (ACP) at #6, while British band Jungle are heading for a second consecutive Top 10 with For Ever (XL) at #8. David Guetta is also charging toward his fourth U.K. Top 10 album with 7 (Parlophone) currently at #9.

Over on singles, the only change from last week’s Top 5 is “Happier” (Positiva) by Marshmello f/Bastille rising one place to #5.

Further down, two songs are making strides toward this week's Top 10: “In My Mind” (Ministry of Sound) by Dynoro & Gigi D'Agostino rises six places to #8, and Jess Glynne's “All I Am” (Atlantic) is up two spots to #9. Silk City f/Dua Lipa's “Electricity” (Columbia) is currently up three to #11.
