A RHAPSODY OF UNRELEASED QUEEN

Five performances from Queen's legendary set at Live Aid in 1985 are being released as part of the soundtrack to 20th Century Fox and Regency EnterprisesBohemian Rhapsody. It’s the first time the Live Aid tracks have been released on an audio format.

Brian May and Roger Taylor selected the 22 songs on the soundtrack that Hollywood Records will be released on CD and digital formats on 10/19. The film opens 11/2 in the U.S.

Tracks on the soundtrack have been sourced from different locales and eras: “Fat Bottomed Girls” is a 1979 performance in Paris; “Now I'm Here” is from the 1975 Christmas Eve show at London's Hammersmith Odeon; “Love of My Life” hails from the January 1985 Rock in Rio festival.

“We Will Rock You” is a blend of the studio version and a live performance; “Don't Stop Me Now” features newly recorded guitar parts from May. May and Taylor’s band prior to Queen, Smile, reunited to to record “Doing All Right” with Smile singer Tim Staffell.

Will the film and all this digging through the Queen vaults lead to a sales bonanza for the multiple Queen hits packages and their classics A Night at the Opera, We Are the Champions and A Day at the Races? Stay tuned.
