ADAM LEVINE AND 222 PRODUCTIONS OPTION A THORN

Adam Levine’s company 222 Productions and Universal Television have optioned the rights to the Thorn book series, which explores themes of revenge and moral ambiguity through the story of a reclusive hero in the Florida Keys.

Written by Edgar Award-winning author, James W. Hall, the project comes from the company's first-look deal with Universal Television and is in development now. A showrunner and cast for the thriller will be revealed soon.

This is not the first foray for Levine's 222 Productions, whose inaugural project is the eight-episode YouTube Originals series Sugar, followed by the songwriter-focused music competition Songland, in partnership with with NBC/Universal Television Alternative Studios
