DUA'S ROAD IS MADE OF SILK

Warner Bros.' red-hot pop siren, Dua Lipa, has confirmed that her highly anticipated song with Silk City—a collaborative project from Mark Ronson and Diplowill arrive in 10 days via Columbia. It's reportedly called "Electricity," and according to Twitter correspondence with a fan, a video will be released in tandem with the drop.

How big could this be? According to Music News Facts, Dua is now the first and only female artist in history to have four lead songs with more than 500m streams on Spotify. Those are "Scared to Be Lonely"—an early 2017 collab with Martin Garrix—"New Rules"—her eponymous full-length's lead single, which is approaching 1b streams at the service on its own—follow-up single "IDGAF" and most recently "One Kiss." The latter is of course her project with Calvin Harris; that song was particularly huge in the U.K., where it held at #1 on the Official Singles Chart for eight weeks.

Witnessing Ronson deliver another "Uptown Funk" moment would be pretty special. When the super-producer talked to The Times in July, he referred to "Electricity" as, "A belter... spiritual piano house music like they used to make." "Lipa sounds imperious," he insisted.
