Sony Music has tapped Constance Williams as Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources, Americas. She will lead Sony Music’s talent acquisition, talent management and organizational development functions in the Americas.
Her new boss, Dasha Smith Dwin, Sony Music’s EVP & Global Chief Human Resources Officer, made the announcement.
“Constance is a highly experienced, successful human resources executive who knows how to deliver forward thinking HR insights,” Smith Dwin said. “I look forward to her helping Sony Music continue to develop a best in class employee experience.”
Most recently a principal at HR Ace Consulting and an adjunct professor at North Carolina Wesleyan College, Williams was previously SVP, HR Americas, for IMG, a division of William Morris Endeavor. She has also held HR jobs at Fiserv, Warner Media, American Express and Pepsi.
“I look forward to partnering with management to develop innovative and impactful HR approaches that help the company meet its business goals, enable our employees to thrive, and strengthen Sony Music’s position as an exceptional place to work,” she said while lining up executives for their first trust fall.
