Rosin up your violin bows and clean out your spit valves, ladies and germs, because it's time once again for the Silverlake Conservatory of Music benefit, which will boast a performance (it was announced on 8/29) by The Red Hot Chili Peppers. The confab will take place on 9/29 at the Conservatory's 4652 Hollywood Blvd. home; the legendary Mo Ostin (who oversaw Warner Bros. Records when it signed SCM founder Flea's Peppers) will be honored, and two notable Warner Bros. artists, KD Lang and Lindsey Buckingham, will be featured.
Look for an art auction and some high-quality schmoozing; also, Eric Greenspan will perform The Brandenburg Concertos on the pennywhistle. RSVP here by 9/14: [email protected]
