BTS has rocketed to #1 on the iTunes albums chart with Love Yourself: Answer (Bighit/Columbia), their third full-length in four years. The K-Pop megastars are also dominating the songs chart this flipover Friday: They have the entire Top 12.
“IDOL” sits at #1 followed by “I’m Fine” and Euphoria” with the version of “IDOL” f/Nicki Minaj sitting at #3; plenty more songs from Love Yourself: Answer are percolating below the leaderboard.
On the albums side, another six new entries join BTS.
Alice in Chains' first album in five years, Rainier Fog (AIC/BMG) is #2. Ozuna's Aura (VP Records) sits at #3. Interpol, celebrating their 15th anniversary, is #4 with Marauder (Matador). The run of rock records continues at #5 with Misery from Roadrunner's The Amity Affliction.
Puerto Rican reggaetonero Ozuna is #6 with Aura (Sony Latin), which is the week’s highest debut at Apple Music, currently sitting at #11. Liam Payne's four-song EP, First Time (Republic), follows on iTunes at #7. Third Eye Blind's Thanks for Everything (Mega Collider) is #10.
