SHE'S BAAAACK: CHARESE TO LEAD RADIONOW POP STATIONS IN INDY, HOUSTON
Radio veteran Charese Frugé has secured a new programming post, having been tapped as CHR Format Captain and PD of Pop twins WNOW Indianapolis and KROI Houston (both RadioNOW outlets of Urban One).
She'll be based in Indy but will make frequent trips to Houston, where she recently served as VP Programming/Ops for CBS and PD of KKHH and KHMX. She spent the preceding decade with CBS Las Vegas, where she repeatedly declined to take Todd Hensley's proffered "action on the dog races."
She'll rejoin her fellow KKHH alumnus DJ Riddler at the two RadioNow stations, where he'll serve as APD/MD.
Charese will not be taking our calls.
