IT'S ALL ABOUT "YOU"

The new track from Epic's A Great Big World, "You," is a heartfelt anthem about fatherhood from the duo's Ian Axel. The song and video clip were featured in a People.com piece on 8/17; you can check it out below.

“We started writing ‘You’ when my wife was pregnant with my son, Bowie. I couldn’t stop thinking about him," Axel told People. "That there was this person who I hadn’t met yet who would soon become my whole world. Honestly, I was terrified." But terror quickly turned to heart-melting joy, as is evidenced by the lovely, winsome ballad (with acoustic textures People compares to Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide").

“This song," Axel remarks, "is for all the people out there who come into your life and change it forever."
