Genevieve Thompson, formerly of Back 40 Entertainment and The Collective, has joined Brooklyn-based Mick Management to head its new Nashville office. She will collaborate with Mick founder Michael McDonald and his partner in leading the firm, Jonathan Eshak.
Thompson’s clients Lennon Stella, who will debut music later this year on RECORDS/Columbia, and Maisy Stella are going with her to Mick Management. Both appeared on the TV show Nashville.
“Genevieve’s history speaks for itself and we’re thrilled to have a true Music City player on our team,” McDonald said. “We represent career artists who are, first and foremost, songwriters who have toured, recorded, and live in Nashville. Having a talented manager on the ground who shares our passion for excellent music and has worked across genre lines makes her a perfect fit as we expand.”
Thompson has worked at Back 40 Entertainment, The Collective and Borman Entertainment with clients such as Keith Urban, Michael Franti and Lady Antebellum.
Nashville by day-to-day manager Jessica Swan will be supporting Thompson.
Mick Management’s roster includes Leon Bridges, Of Monsters and Men, Sharon Van Etten and Walk The Moon.
