ARIANA SWEETENS THE DEAL FOR AMEX CARDHOLDERS
AMEX and Republic's Ariana Grande have teamed up to give fans a sneak-peek treat with American Express x Ariana Grande: The Sweetener Sessions—three exclusive performances for Card Members that will happen in NYC at Irving Plaza, The Vic in Chicago and The Ace Theatre in Los Angeles.
The promotion gives AMEX members a chance to be among the first to see Ariana perform brand new songs live from her forthcoming album, Sweetener, due out 8/17.
Tickets will become available exclusively to members starting Thursday.
“We’re incredibly excited to again partner with one of today’s most celebrated artists, Ariana Grande, to bring our Card Members intimate, one-of-a-kind performances,” said Deb Curtis, VP, Head of Global Brand Experiences & Partnerships at American Express.
The shows will happen sometime in late August. Grande tweeted Wednesday morning, "surprise. i’m doing a lil thing called the sweetener sessions to celebrate release week w @americanexpress ! on sale 10 am local tmrw. the first of the sweetener sessions will take place in ny after the vmas. be der."
