Looks like Troy Carter doesn’t need to look for another job right away. Carter, whose next destination following his September departure from Spotify is the subject of industrywide speculation, has peeled just south of a million large on a painting, according to Page Six.
The tech entrepreneur—who’s a serious art collector—got into a bidding war with Dallas socialite Nancy Rogers Friday at the ArtCrush gala in Aspen over a work by artist Rashid Johnson (pictured).
“The painting was estimated to sell at $285,000, but it sold for $730,000,” a source told the Post.
