Paramount's Mission: Impossible - Fallout bowed at the top of the domestic box office this weekend, earning north of $61m. According to BoxOfficeMojo, this is the largest three-day opening for the franchise—and the second largest when it comes to Tom Cruise's overall career (2008's War of the Worlds did $64.8m). Fallout, which scored a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, also saw the best reviews for the franchise.
