On Sunday morning, rapper 6ix9ine dropped “FEFE,” a collaboration with Nicki Minaj and Murda Beatz, hours before he was pistol-whipped and robbed in Brooklyn. Now the track is climbing the charts.
The Ten Thousand Projects release is sitting at #2 on Apple Music’s song chart, #5 on iTunes songs chart and #12 on Spotify’s U.S. chart.
The AP reported that 6ix9ine told police that three men kidnapped him, beat him until he was unconscious and stole his jewelry. They also took the $20K he had on him. TMZ says 6ix9ine has now changed his story.
