U.K. CHARTS: DRAKE RULES

Drake has scored a hat trick with “In My Feelings” (Island) earning him a third U.K. Official Singles #1 this year on 91k combined sales—88% of which come from streaming. He’s also #1 on albums with Scorpion for a third week.

Justin Bieber was the last artist to score three #1 singles in a year in Blighty; it was in 2015. “In My Feelings” earned 8.8m streams this last week and was boosted by viral video-based dance craze #DoTheShiggy.

Ariana Grande has the highest new singles entry with “God is a Woman” (Island) starting at #4. The second highest new track is Childish Gambino’s “Summertime Magic” (Columbia) at #30.

George Ezra is at #2 with “Shotgun” (Columbia), Clean Bandit f/Demi Lovato’s “Solo” (Atlantic) is #3 and Drake is also at #5 with “Don’t Matter to Me” f/Michael Jackson.

Further down, two tracks enter the Top 10 for the first time: “Youngblood” (Capitol) by Five Seconds of Summer rises three places to #8 and Tiesto f/Dzeko, Preme and Post Malone’s “Jackie Chan” (Virgin EMI) is also up to #9 from #12.

Over on the Official Albums Chart, Scorpion’s arrival on CD has boosted the album’s profile and denied The Vamps a chance at #1 with Night & Day, The Day Edition (Virgin EMI), which settles for second place.

The highest new albums entry is the Mamma Mia—Here We Go Again soundtrack (Polydor) at #4, while Rick Astley ends at #6 with Beautiful Life (BMG).

The Hunna’s sophomore album, Dare (High Time), has charted at #12, and Not3s’ second EP, Take Not3s II (Relentless), ends at #16.
